The Pulse of ITAD: Microsoft Commits to Achieve Zero Waste Goals By 2030

Software and computing giant Microsoft recently announced new electronics recycling and ITAD efforts in a write-up from company president Brad Smith. The ITAD shifts fit into a commitment that Microsoft made at the beginning of this year focusing on four major environmental sustainability initiatives throughout 2020: Carbon, Water, Ecosystems, and Waste. Waste is the current initiative that the company is highlighting, and a shift in data center asset disposition falls under that umbrella.
